Grocery Bill

I went grocery shopping today. My goal was to spend no more than $100. I spent $116. I try to use coupons - I am either not good at it? or lazy...but the maximum savings I usually get with coupons is about $20. I wish I could do little those people on "Extreme Couponing".
Any suggestions? Ideas? to save on groceries? Thank you!

Do you shop at a big chain? A Wal-Mart? A neighborhood store? Do you live near an Aldi store? Just wondering.....I have an Aldi near where I live and I do most shopping there, which I've found to save me close to 1/3 off my bill versus my neighborhood store (CRAZY good prices there). I also find pretty big savings at Wal-Mart Supercenters (if I can stand being in there)....I don't do as much couponing as I probably could, but shopping at Aldi makes up for it in my head.

ReplyDeleteI do have an Aldi store...but I never went in it! Believe it or not, I had no idea that it was a grocery store. I will definetly try it! What a great suggestion. Thank you so so much!!!
